We spent over 10 years in our old home where my favourite room was the kitchen.

However, I always fancied a white kitchen and our new home has just that. A beautiful white kitchen.

So when one door closes, another one is sure to open.

So while I was sorry to say goodbye to Christie Road and left the house feeling nostalgic as memories of family braais, Christmases and parties came rushing over me, I was happy to start a new phase of my life.

Light not only allows us  to see beautiful things, its source is often a thing of beauty too. An outdoor Christmas tree lights up the darkness, a lovely chandelier softens a light bulb. But the most beautiful light of all comes from a South African East Coast sunrise.
